Familiarize yourself with the components of your record player:

1. Place a record on the turntable platter. If playing a 45 RPM single, place the 45 RPM adaptor on the center spindle.
2. Select the appropriate speed (33, 45, or 78 RPM) using the Turntable Speed Selector.
3. Turn the Function Selection Knob to "PHONO".
4. Lift the tonearm using the Cueing Lever.
