Installation of the Kwikset Montara handleset is designed to be straightforward. A screwdriver is typically the only tool required for most installations. If your door does not have a pre-drilled bottom hole for the handleset support, a drill will be necessary. 4.2 Handleset Assembly

Follow the visual instructions in the provided Installation Guide to assemble the exterior handleset, interior knob, and deadbolt components. Ensure all screws are tightened securely but do not overtighten.
