5. Place the reusable filter back into its holder and close the lid securely.

Simply remove the carafe from the warming plate, and the brewing will temporarily stop. Return the carafe to the warming plate within 20 seconds to resume brewing and prevent overflow.

1. Prepare a descaling solution by mixing white vinegar and water (e.g., 1 part vinegar to 2 parts water) or use a commercial descaling agent according to its instructions.
2. Pour the solution into the water reservoir up to the '10-cup' mark.
