The PUR PLUS dispenser is designed to provide cleaner, great-tasting water by reducing lead, microplastics, and other chemical and physical substances from your tap water. It features a large 30-cup capacity, a slim design for refrigerator storage, and a filter change indicator light.

1. Unboxing and Initial Cleaning
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. The package includes one dispenser and one PUR PLUS filter.
Before first use, wash all parts of the dispenser (except the filter) with mild soap and water. The dispenser reservoir, lid, and handle are dishwasher safe. Rinse thoroughly.

2. Filter Preparation and Installation

- Submerge the filter in cold water for 15 minutes to prime it. This helps remove air bubbles and ensures optimal filtration.
- Insert the primed filter into the filter housing in the dispenser's upper reservoir. Twist the filter clockwise until it locks securely into place. The LockFit™ design ensures a tight seal, preventing unfiltered water from bypassing the filter.
- Ensure the filter is fully seated to prevent leaks and ensure proper filtration.

Open the lid of the dispenser. Fill the upper reservoir with cold tap water. The water will slowly filter through to the lower reservoir. Do not overfill past the maximum fill line.

3. Filter Change Indicator Light
The dispenser is equipped with a smart indicator light to remind you when to replace the filter for optimal performance.

Regular cleaning of your dispenser is recommended. All parts, except the filter, are dishwasher safe. For manual cleaning, use mild soap and water, then rinse thoroughly. Avoid abrasive cleaners.

Replace your PUR PLUS filter every 2 months or after filtering 40 gallons of water, whichever comes first. The filter indicator light will signal when a replacement is needed.

- Water Tastes or Smells Unusual: This typically indicates that the filter needs to be replaced. Ensure you are using a genuine PUR PLUS filter and that it is correctly installed.
- Dispenser Leaks: Check that the filter is securely twisted into its housing. Ensure all parts of the dispenser are correctly assembled. Inspect the dispenser for any visible cracks or damage.
- Filter Indicator Light Not Working: Ensure the battery in the indicator is functional. If the light does not respond after pressing the reset button, contact customer support.
