1. Battery Installation (Main Unit)

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the main clock unit.

After installing batteries in both units, the main clock unit will automatically begin searching for the WWVB atomic time signal. This process may take several minutes to several hours, depending on your location and environmental conditions. During this time, the atomic signal icon (often a tower or antenna symbol) on the display may flash.

• For best reception, place the clock near a window, facing towards Fort Collins, Colorado.
• Once the signal is received and synchronized, the atomic signal icon will become solid, and the clock will display the correct time, date, and day of the week.
• The outdoor temperature from the wireless sensor should also appear on the display. If not, ensure the sensor is properly placed and its batteries are correctly installed.

2. Temperature Display Units

To switch between Fahrenheit (℉) and Celsius (℃) temperature units, locate the ▼/RCC button on the back of the clock. Press this button to toggle between the two units.

3. Manual Atomic Signal Search

If the clock loses synchronization or you wish to force a signal search, press and hold the ▼/RCC button for a few seconds. The atomic signal icon will begin flashing, indicating that the clock is actively searching for the WWVB signal.
