The Ortofon OM5e cartridge is typically pre-mounted. Adjust the counterweight by rotating it until the tonearm floats horizontally. Then, set the tracking force according to the cartridge manufacturer's recommendation (typically 1.75g for OM5e). Connect the RCA output cables from the turntable to an available input on your amplifier or powered speakers. Since this model has a built-in phono preamp, you can connect it to a standard line-level input (e.g., AUX, CD, LINE).
