Setup and Installation (Forward-Facing with Vehicle Belt Lock-Off)

Prepare Tether Strap: Unhook the top tether strap from its storage position and place it over the front of the car seat for easy access later.

Tighten Seat Belt: Press down firmly in the center of the car seat while pulling on the shoulder belt to remove all slack.
Close Lock-Off: Close and lock the belt lock-off. Confirm that both the lap belt and shoulder belt are routed underneath the lock-off.
Replace Pad & Adjust Headrest: Replace the seat pad and adjust the headrest to the proper position for your child.
Attach & Tighten Top Tether: Extend the tether strap by lifting up on the tether lock. Attach the tether to the appropriate anchor point in your vehicle (refer to your vehicle's owner's manual). Remove all slack from the top tether strap.

Tightening and Loosening Harness
