Carefully remove the watch from its packaging. Inspect the watch for any visible damage. Retain the packaging for future reference or storage.

- To set the time: Pull the crown (the small knob on the side of the watch) out to the outermost position. Rotate the crown to move the hands clockwise or counter-clockwise until the desired time is displayed. Push the crown back in to start the watch.
- To set the date: Pull the crown out to the middle position. Rotate the crown to adjust the date. If the date changes during the day, advance the time by 12 hours. Push the crown back in to secure the date.

The watch features a fabric strap with genuine leather trim. To adjust the strap, simply thread the strap through the buckle and secure it through the appropriate hole for a comfortable fit on your wrist. Ensure the strap is snug but not overly tight to allow for proper circulation.

Your Timex Expedition Scout watch is equipped with the INDIGLO® Night-Light feature. To activate the backlight, simply press and hold the crown. The entire watch dial will illuminate, allowing you to read the time in low-light conditions. Luminous hands also provide visibility after exposure to light.

This watch is water-resistant to 50 meters (164 feet). This rating means it is suitable for short periods of recreational swimming, but not for diving or snorkeling. To maintain water resistance, do not press any buttons under water.
