- Unpack the Timex Digital Alarm Clock and its universal power adapter.
- Insert the small plug of the power adapter into the DC IN jack located on the back of the alarm clock.

Battery Backup Installation (if not pre-installed)
The clock comes with a pre-installed CR2032 battery for backup. This battery maintains time and alarm settings during a temporary power outage. If the battery needs replacement:

The 5W USB-A charging port is located on the side of the clock. Connect your smartphone, tablet, or other USB-powered device using your device's charging cable (not included) to charge it.
Note: The USB charging port is for charging devices only and does not transfer data.
