Follow these steps carefully to assemble your BRASQ metal storage shelf. Assembly is typically tool-free for the main structure, requiring only a rubber mallet to secure connections.

Step 1: Prepare the Upright Posts

Attach the plastic feet/caps to the bottom ends of the upright posts. These protect your floor and provide stability.

Connect two upright posts using two long horizontal beams and two short horizontal beams to form a rectangular base. Ensure the beams are inserted securely into the slots on the uprights. Use a rubber mallet to gently tap the connections until they are fully seated and firm. Repeat this for the top frame.

Stand the two assembled frames upright. Connect them using additional long and short horizontal beams at the desired shelf heights. Start with the bottom and top shelves to create a stable structure, then add the intermediate shelves. Ensure all connections are fully engaged and secure with the rubber mallet.

Step 4: Insert Shelf Panels

Once the frame is fully assembled and stable, place the shelf panels onto the horizontal beams. Ensure they sit flush and are evenly supported. The shelf height can be adjusted by repositioning the horizontal beams in the upright slots before placing the panels.

Step 5: Check Stability and Anchor (Recommended)

After assembly, gently shake the unit to check for stability. Use a spirit level to ensure it is level. For enhanced safety, especially with heavy loads or in active environments, anchor the shelving unit to a wall. Mark the desired wall mounting points, drill pilot holes, and secure the unit using appropriate wall anchors and screws (not supplied).
