For USB headsets compatible with 7.1 surround sound, you must download and install the specific driver from the EKSA website (Support/Download section). Note that 7.1 drivers are typically available for Windows systems only.
First, ensure the microphone mute switch on the headset cable or ear cup is turned off. Then, go to your PC's Control Panel > Sound > Recording tab, set the EKSA headset as the Default Device, and ensure the volume level is raised.
Headsets with a 3.5mm audio jack are compatible with Xbox One controllers. Newer controllers have a direct jack; older controllers may require a Microsoft Headset Adapter (sold separately). USB-only headsets may not be compatible with Xbox consoles.
For USB dongle models, plug the transmitter into your device and power on the headset; they should pair automatically. For Bluetooth models, press and hold the power/pairing button until the indicator flashes red and blue, then select the headset in your device's Bluetooth settings.
