To restart most Verifone terminals, disconnect the power source (and battery if applicable), wait 10 seconds, and reconnect it. Some models also support a restart by holding the red Cancel key and the Enter key simultaneously.

Most Verifone terminals are not waterproof. If a device is exposed to water, disconnect power immediately and do not attempt to use it. Contact your service provider for assistance.
